Our HLD4 formula is Article 95 compliant and has been developed with the Biocidal Products Regulations (BPR), REACH, CLP (Classification of Labelling and Packaging) and CDG (Carriage of Dangerous Goods) regulations in mind to ensure that as a user you are future proofed from the need to make changes to your product portfolio. Even under the strictest health and safety, occupational health and environmental risk assessments, the HLD4 requires minimal consideration.

The synergistic blend of active and inert ingredients enables CHEMGENE HLD4H to work quicker than many comparable Disinfectant products.

MATERIALS COMPATIBILITY
Independent laboratory testing demonstrates no corrosion or deterioration of the following materials, even after long-term repeated immersions:

Rubber compounds, Plastics, Fibreglass, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Copper, Brass and other materials found in clinical practice, in particular, synthetic floors, instruments and devices.

APPLICATIONS

• For bio-hazard contamination (blood, urine, vomit etc) dilute to 1 in 10 (10%). To make a ready-to-use solution, dilute 100ml of concentrate product in 1 Litre of water of a suitable quality
• Wash down all surfaces with disinfectant at 1 in 50 (2%) and dry with paper towel or allow to dry naturally
• For general disinfection of floors and walls dilute at 1 in 100 (1%). To make ready-to-use solution, dilute 10ml of concentrate product in 1 Litre of water of suitable quality

• CHEMGENE HLD4H wipes can also be used to wipe surfaces and be allowed to dry

CHEMGENE HLD4H has been tested effective against:

BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY
Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Enterococcus hirae, Escherichia coli, Legionella pneumophila, listeria monocytogenes, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella tryphimurium and Staphylococcus aureus.

VIRUCIDAL ACTIVITY
Adenovirus, Hepatitis B, Herpes Simplex, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Norovirus, Vaccinia (Enveloped viruses including Coronavirus SARS CoV-2).

The HLD4 formulation demonstrates efficacy against enveloped viruses in 30 seconds.

MYCOBACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY
Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium terrae.

YEASTICIDAL / FUNGICIDAL ACTIVITY
Candida albicans and Trichophyton rubrum

Dr Martin Moncrieffe of the Department of Biochemistry, Cambridge University has certified that ” Formulation HLD4 at dilutions of 1:200 or lower is very effective at precipitating/denaturing DNA and RNA”

On the basis of this evidence we hereby assert that CHEMGENE HLD4H/L is effective at denaturing DNA/RNA at it’s published working dilutions.

CHEMGENE HLD4H is manufactured in accordance with Quality Management System ISO 9001 and is biodegradable under OECD conditions.

The HLD4 formula is being supported through BPD and REACH and contains no actives listed as being of a carcinogenic risk.

Unopened CHEMGENE HLD4H concentrate has a shelf life of 3 years, factory diluted product has a shelf life of 2 years and customer diluted of 3 months
